Focus is placed on precise movements originally from the center or core of your body. Working from the deepest layers of muscles, which stabilize and support your spine and pelvis, resulting in a strong, flexible spine with ideal posture and alignment. Classes emphasize the principles of pilates while offering modifications and variations to suit each students individual needs. The class is designed to lengthen and strengthen the body with power, precision and flow.
Reformer Group Class-
The reformer uses springs, leverage and body weight to provide resistance while performing movements targeting specific muscle groups. The workouts consist of controlled flowing movements while working your muscles through a full range of motion. The increased resistance provided by the reformer makes your muscles exert more force to overcome it, and therefore make them stronger. It is designed to strengthen and align, stretch and tone your entire body. It helps build lean, flexible muscles as well as increase coordination, improve posture, and relieve stress. Classes are invigorating and fun.
Tower Group Class-
This class provides a great combination of mat work and core strengthening exercises. Through a system of springs and bars the equipment supports the body to ensure proper stabilization and positioning, while providing added resistance for strengthening, toning and lengthening muscles. This class is great for students of all levels.
The classes are limited to 6 people so that we can provide more individualized attention to allow for a safe and effective workout.
